I agree that background checks are needed. For the purposes of seeing if their married, if they have criminal history or maybe a sex offender. We have to be safe.
I have to agree with this, especially if we meet someone from one of the internet social sites. Even the cute guy in the grocery line could be bad (Oh, I hope so...) or really dangerous (better be sure he is not). I think a date background search makes sense. It just that I think it costs like $40 for a background check, and that makes him an expensive date before I even went out with him. Or, it was a really cheap date compared to the cost of what evil guys do to disappeared girls.
Then I see websites that say a
thorough background check
will yield results from a broad range of records: driver’s license, credit records, personal acquaintances, character references, criminal records, education records, court records, worker’s compensation claims. I wonder how they get all that information.
Before too much kissing and feeling goes on, I tell him that I think it is good ethics to give blood at the American Red Cross. Then we go volunteer to give blood on a lunch date. And, guess what. ARC will check his blood for a dozen different diseases. If the ARC likes his blood, then I feel more safe getting passionate with him.
